Federal Direct Subsidized Student Loans

Most individuals are eligible for financial aid. The first step is to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to receive federal student aid.
Federal student aid is financial aid from the federal government to help students pay for educational expenses.
The categories below explain financial aid available at our school.
Loans awarded to eligible undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. The school determines the amount the student can borrow, and the amount may not exceed your financial need. You do not begin to repay until six months after you graduate. The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on Federal Direct Subsidized Loans while you are in school.

Federal Direct Unsubsidized Student Loans

This loan is awarded to students but is not based on financial need. The school determines the amount the student can borrow by considering the cost of attendance and the amount of other financial aid the student receives. Interest is charged during all periods, including while you are in school and during grace and deferment periods. If the student elects not to pay the interest while in school and during grace periods and deferment or forbearance periods, the interest will be capitalized at the end of the grace, deferment, or forbearance period .In other words, the unpaid interest will be added to the principal amount of the loan. You do not begin to repay this loan until six months after you graduate.

Federal Direct Plus Loans

These are federal loans that a parent can receive on the behalf of their dependent undergraduate student. These funds can be used to help pay education expenses up to the cost of attendance minus all other financial assistance. Interest is charged during all periods The U.S. Department of Education is the lender. A credit check will be conducted.
